The internet is full of embryo-transfer rituals
Patients are told to lie flat, avoid stairs, stay in bed, eat specific foods or postpone ordinary movement. Your clinic should give you written post-transfer instructions based on its medical protocol rather than folklore.
For travel, ask the clinician directly when it is comfortable and medically acceptable for you to fly, especially if you have other medical risks or experienced a complicated stimulation cycle.
Separate transfer recovery from OHSS monitoring
If a transfer follows a fresh stimulated cycle, the patient may still be in the period when OHSS symptoms can matter. That is different from an uncomplicated frozen embryo transfer.
